This is a sculptural project by Shawn Decker and Jan-Erik Andersson. Installed at the Evanston Art Center for one year (outdoors). 50 speakers powered by 4 arduino boards. Light sensors and EM sensors (bare wires) track low level ambient changes to power random variations in insect and bird patterns. Documentation is at:

Actually it looks pretty cool, but I am not sure I would stand inside it (then again, I've been on more rickety structures than that at Burning Man, so I probably would!)...
