Blind controlled by Arduino?

Hi everyone,

I am going to paint in my house, and I have thought introduce some domotic elements.
I was studying the cheapest and funniest solutions for this, considering use of Siemens LOGO, or Arduino.

I Have just bought and Arduino for learn more about this and I was asking to me if would be possible control blinds and other elements of my home trough relies using Arduino.

It all depends on the mechanics of your blinds and other household gizmos.

Yes it's both possible and practical to control most things in the home.

As to how you go about it, that depends on a 100 design decisions like how many things, what things, how far apart the things are etc etc.

If it wasn't for blinds it would be curtains for us all.
