in truth i don't really know if the sensor is a reed or hall effect what i do know is someone ordered a big ol' bag of about 100 of them long before i got here. at the risk of sounding like a dummy, I'm not following any of this, I think I am trying to approach this from to many directions at once, I am going to put this one the shelf till monday and clear my head. Also I think I may be trying to build something that already exists and just need to implement it.
