Blood Pressure and Respiratory Sensors

Hi Everyone!
I need to measure blood pressure and catch patient's respiratory movement for a project in college. I'm having trouble on find sensors to do these things for me. Anyone knows sensors that can solve these problems?

About the respiratory movement, i'm thinking in build a strap that attaches on person's thorax and stretch as the patient breathes.

I'm gonna send the data through bluetooth to a desktop application.

For the breathing patterns, what about a strain gauge? They are inexpensive.
As for the BP, there is a method that measures the time of the pulse wave or Pulse Transit Time.
