If you have a better solution
From the sound of it this is a new issue then or before a few days ago had you not used the Arduino IDE on your netbook?
If it worked before then have you installed anything new lately?
What's the error it gives when it BSs?
Hi.
Thank you for your answer Mowcius.
Arduino worked on my netbook since 2 month ago.
Sunday, my computer has made an update of windows 7, maybe it's due to this.
When arduino started to made BS, i upload the last version of Java.
I didn't remember what is the error on the Blue screen, but i saw my computer reseller and he sayd that (with this blue screen) it was a problem of software compatibility.
Fortunately i have an other computer with XP ans it work fine.
I will wait some time and i'll retry.

The reseller lied. A blue screen of death is always the result of one of three things: either there is a bug in the kernel (which is very very very unlikely), there is a bug in a device driver, or a piece of hardware is failing causing a device driver to crash. It is absolutely impossible for an application like the Arduino IDE or Java to cause a blue screen of death. What can happen is that an application causes buggy code in a device driver to run resulting in a blue screen of death.
The first goal is to determine which device driver is causing the problem. By default, the operating system reboots when a blue screen of death occurs. There is an option to display error information instead. I suggest enabling that option.
I believe there are tools available for analyzing the dump file that's created from a blue screen of death. I've never used any of those tools myself but I have read success stories from people who have used those tools. I suggest searching Microsoft's website for a dump file analysis tool.
Finally, the folks at Microsoft may be able to assist. It is, after all, in their best interest. I suggest posting a message to one of the Microsoft operating system forums.
What i would say, is that i took my computer at the reseller. I run arduino with him. I compile a program. The screen blue appear. i quote the error code on another computer and he tell me that with this code, it was an incompatibility due certainly to an update of windows7 or other.
I found the crash reporter: the first crash happen the 01/05/2011:
