bluetooth arduino

hey,

I have a problem with a bluetooth module with arduino.
I connect the bluetooth module with the arduino (vcc to 5V, gnd to ground, txd to 1 and rxd to 0).
Than I provide arduino with power from a 9V battery this all works fine.
Than I want to connect it with the bluetooth from my laptop.

My laptop sees HC-06 and it can connect but every time I want to upload something, the arduino software stays a long time on ''busy with upload'' about 2 minutes. After 2 minutes the software says chose an other port and windows says that HC-06 is an unknown device.

Do I have to download some extra software to run this or what should I do?

What do you mean by upload? You mean uploading a sketch? If so, you cannot upload a sketch while your bluetooth module/shield is connected to the RX/TX pins of the arduino.
