Does soldering the TX and RX pins of arduino and HC-05 bluetooth module significantly improve performance?
There will be one feet of wire between the two for both power and data. By performance I mean, keeping connected with my MIT app inventor based app for a long time, transferring data back and forth faster ( lower than the limit) etc.

Soldered wiring does't improve performance but reliability. I would make serial wiring shorter than one foot, if possible.
Projects I have seen with BT on the Uno/Nano hardware serial port instruct removal of BT while uploading the sketch to the Arduino.
