Bluetooth connectivity

Hello. First post, so pardon me if anything is wrong.

I am having trouble connecting my bluetooth modules (connected on UNO R3) with android phones.

I want to exchange data between UNO and phone with bluetooth, BUT android sees the bluetooth module (HM-10) and asks for pairing code (1234), but stucks at pairing... for some seconds and then drops connection. SoI can't really pair with android. If i use BLE scanner app, then it sees the module, and connects. SO if i give a command i can make a led in pin 13 ON or OFF. BUT only throug BLE Scanner app. In the android bluetooth panel they don't seem connected. Instead I see two TY options...

Tried also with HC-05. Same results.

Any kind of help would be precious.

Thank you.

I think the pairing code for the HM10 is "123456".

Thank you. I will try and report!

If you use the HM-10 out of the box, I don't think it needs pairing. Assuming you want to use a terminal, you DO need a compatible one. Try the one by Kai Morisch.

Cattledog is right, the pass word for HM-10 is 123456, but I have no idea when you need to use that. You may find more information on the Martyn Currey website.
