Bluetooth directly to PC

Hi!

We all know that Bluetooth devices such as HC-06 or 05 can be connected with application on android handphone. Is it possible to connect it directly to PC? By which I mean like normally, we will place the HC06 onto the board, load code from arduino and connect it to android handphone, but instead of handphone, we use PC as substitute. And if possible, without the use of any external software to communicate with the HC-06. Just relying on the build-in bluetooth on PC

I'm asking because I'm had tried it out,but while the PC shows the HC-06 has been paired, the LED on the HC-06 still does not stop blinking. Probably should have ask first before trying it out in the first place

No obvious reason this would not be possible.

Check bluetooth protocols available at your PC's bluetooth receiver, and compare that with what the HC-05 offers. Some are BLE only, and the HC-05 can't handle that.

Sorry, but what is BLE?

Bluetooth Low Energy. One of various variations on the Bluetooth protocol.
