Bluetooth HC-05/06 Win11 not connecting in IDE

Used the HC-Modules some years ago, now i want to reprogramm an old project that uses a HC-05-Module over Softserial.
Works fine under Windows 10, no problem in IDE 2.3.2 or 1.8.19...

But with the computer at my working place, which is windows 11, its not conncting in the IDE 2.3.2 (and no, in the legacy 1.8.19, it doesn't connect too ...).
And to be clear: the module is paired, i use the correct COM-Port, same settings as in Win10, it just does not connect in the IDE.

I get this error message when trying to open Serial Monitor:
"Port monitor error: command 'open' failed: A device which does not exist was specified. Could not connect to COM10 serial port."

Is there some magic trick like choosing another board (instead of ARDUINO UNO) in the tools menu ?

Does anybody know, how to get the HC-06 running/connected under Win11.

There is nothing to suggest that there is a problem with Uno, and everything to suggest there is a problem with Bluetooth.

Is HC-06 really paired or is it just a case of the PC seeing it? If the latter, it may be that PC has a BT4 on board and it needs to be configured to BT2.

Hi Nick, thx.
It is really paired, password is entered, then windows connects to it for some seconds and frees it again to the paired state. Just like under WIn10.
Only Problem is in WIn11 it does not connect in the IDE after choosing the COM and opening the SerialMonitor, like it does without problems under WIn10.
So i think it is a problem with Win11. Just hoped somebody had the same problem and knows a fix for WIn11 ...

BT4 is the newer version, right? (HC05/06 are BT2, i guess).
But the WIn11 can connect to it, so i dont see the problem there ...

Now it works ...
After the approx. 10th removal of the Device and Research, Reboot etc. it connected to another COM-Port (now COM 3 instead of 10) and now it works flawless.

Once again a "bug" in the windows regime ... but at least "solved".
