I am making a project.Final size of product needs to be very small. So i am using coin cell for operation but i can not drive my bluetooth module hc-05 with it .I am using two 3 v coin cell in series with 5v voltage regulator.
Which bluetooth module should i use for my project?
A bare HC-05 module runs on 3.3v.
Hi, look at the ArduinoInfo.Info WIKI HERE:
There is a page with Bluetooth HC-05 information HERE:and an Arduino sketch that is a Bluetooth Command Utility HERE:
I know HC-05 can work on 3.3 V also but when i am connecting with battery there is a sudden drop in voltage level (4.3 to 2.2 v).
I guess the battery is too small, or the bluetooth too big. You might consider swapping the HC-05 for an HM-10, which is a BLE device. Note that, if you do this, you will need to connect to anopther BLE device to get the advantage.
I was also thinking for the same . I did not get it , another ble device concept. I need to communicate with Mobile phone that will work as another device.Isn't it?
Most modern phones are BLE.
Mean if i will use BLE, i am going to loose a very large customer area for my device. Is all the wearable use BLE?

I would assume the opposite
