Bluetooth module and Arduino communication.

Hi,

I want to make two UNO's talk to each other wirelessly and the wireless protocol that I have selected is Bluetooth. I have searched online but I am none the wiser and wanted your help in deciding which bluetooth modules to buy? I am asking for your help as most of the modules that I saw behave as slaves and they cannot communicate directly with each other according to this article that I just read. Bluetooth Basics - SparkFun Learn

Which bluetooth modules are cheap and good for my specifications in your experience? I checked out this module and I wanted to know if I should go ahead and buy them. As I want to make two UNO's communicate with each other via Bluetooth can both the modules behave as slaves. Is this is a good product?

Thanks!

It's about the only bluetooth you should not buy for this purpose. All bluetooth modules are slave by default, but all except this one can be configured as a master. You will need at least one that can be configured as a master, even if you don't actually use it as a master. At the top right corner of the ad is an HC-05. It will do what you want, and I think it was cheaper.
