how to pair 5 (Bluetooth Module HC-05) to mobile application at the same time ?
I need to pair mobile app with bluetooth module
I am going to send data from the arduino to app
which module should I use ?
hc-05
hc-06
?
What sort of data?
for total n00bs (ie. sending 'text values' over Serial) , HC-05 seems to be standard.
IIRC, HC-06 is really the same, except it can only be in slave mode.
Still trying to pair five?
'pair' refers to TWO.
that means, you connect TWO devices together.
you cannot "pair five" !
I'm a newbie, however I'd look at I2C... They probably have the same address so search for an example for scanning the I2C bus, e.g.

Sorry but this has nothing to do with the question asked. Bluetooth and I2C have nothing in common.

oops, but you mean, this module (HC-05) is not capable of I2C communication.
So unless the OP selects a different module, they need some kind of switch for their serial connection?
I'm just trrying to help ![]()
or the built in solution?
The mobile device supports multiple pairings and simultaneous connections. There may be restrictions on the type mix of simultaneous connections, and I haven't tried it with more than one HC-05 at a time.
The mobile application would have to support simultaneous connections of the same type, which likely means you'd have to write the app to do whatever it is you desire. For Android MIT App Inventor is a relatively easy way to get started in app development.
What exactly is it you are trying to accomplish?
This may help to rename the modules

But you are not. You totally misunderstand the question, and your “advice” is useless. You are out of your depth.
@alecks please read the how to use this forum sticky post, then start your own thread.

Having a little trouble seeing how this comment isn't pretty useless too. And in that respect, you seem to be a little "out of your depth" as well. Why the chip on your shoulder?

Either will do. You might find the following background notes useful.
