Bluetooth Module - Soldering/Connecting Question

Hi,

I have one of these serial Bluetooth modules which I was going to attempt to use with an Arduino --

I think the pitch is 1.5mm, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how best to solder some kind of connectors to these pins? Can't find a suitable pin strip and using individual bits of wire looks like an unbelievable pain.

What would be the usual practice?

Cheers.

No one makes a 1.5mm pitch header?

If those edge connections are scalloped soldering wires would be very easy.

  1. Take one long length of buss wire and wrap it around the body making
sure that the buss wire connects to each scallop.
  2. Solder the buss wire in each scallop.
  3. Cut the buss wire flush on the top
  4. Trim the buss wire to the desired length on the bottom.

Oooh that's clever!

Cheers mate.

Hello,
I have the same problem.
But I don't know what "buss wire" is.
Could you add an image?

Cheers!

Buss wire is solid tinned copper wire. If you type in buss wire
at Digikey you will get a number of hits.
