Bluetooth Serial Communication

Hello Folks,

I am working on one interesting project with Arduino Lilypad and Bluetooth module ( https://eckstein-shop.de/SparkFun-Bluetooth-Modem-BlueSMiRF-Silver?curr=EUR&gclid=CjwKCAiA3JrQBRBtEiwAN7cEGou2e95jGgdiLg0-Y2yXADYAm9dHlYIk6Toxs6zEK8LjiiE1DhhBUBoCiJoQAvD_BwE )

I want to send data(data type - double) to Arduino from my Mac(Serial Port) via using this Bluetooth module. Basically, this Bluetooth module is connected to my wristband and showings blinking stuff on my wristband.

I know I can see my data on serial port COM9 on my Mac. I want to connect this COM9 to my Arduino so I can do some magical stuff with the data.

Thank you.

gracias.

Bluetooth is essentially "serial by wireless".

The Sparkfun page has lots of data. I presume you have already studied that so maybe there is something you did not understand. If so please tell us what it is.

Have a look at the examples in Serial Input Basics - simple reliable ways to receive data.
