Bluetooth SPP (HC-05) and Windows (8.1 C#) client

Just curious if anyone has tried to use an HC-05 with Arduino to communicate with a Windows 8.1 modern app?

I have the pairing and device connection working fine, but I'm having problems with the InputStream and OutputStream for data transmission.

Has anyone done anything similar?

Somehow I hadn't actually seen that. But, I managed to get it working. Windows (and WP8) will not show the device connected (even if it's paired) until you start actively sending data at which point it'll look like a proper Bluetooth connection and start transferring properly.
