Hello, I am a beginner about Arduino. I want to know about bluetooth module. Is it the bluetooth bee need another board to connect to an arduino? I had surf over the internet, and many of them use another board before connect to arduino. I need to know what is that board and the bluetooth bee itself. Please help me.
Is it the bluetooth bee need another board to connect to an arduino?
Yes. The pin spacing on the bluetooth bee is the same as that of an XBee, which is 0.1 mm between pins. That is not the same spacing as the Arduino. Not to mention that the order of the pins is incompatible.
and many of them use another board before connect to arduino.
You misspelled “all”.
The simplest and probably cheapest connection is the plain-vanilla HC-05 module. This has four pins at standard spacing and could be plugged into or soldered onto a shield, but I think is more commonly connected by flying leads, and is often supplied with a cable for that purpose. Costs about $7
