BMP280 at 5V already dead?

Hey,
I just connected my BMP280 sensor to 5V instead of 3.3V. Is that enough to kill it? I can't get it working...

Yes, that will kill it. Unless your breakout board has level shifters and a regulator on board (some do, some don't).
