Hi,
I just purchased an Arduino MKR ETH Shield (Arduino MKR ETH Shield — Arduino Official Store), thought it was all the components I needed, but now I see I need a board to connect it.
My question is: which are my options in terms of boards? I'm looking for a small one, if it's possible with the same width than the MKR ETH Shield.

You should be able to use it with any of the MKR boards. The most simple of those is the MKR ZERO:
The other MKR boards, which have enhanced features:
I should mention that I don't have experience with any of these products.
The only one I would avoid is the MKR FOX.
Be also aware the the MKR1010 is still quite new and there are still some libs and such to come through.
The MKR1000 is very stable as is the MKR ZERO.
