Boba Fett x Daft Punk Helmet

I have recently discovered the world of Arduino and I want to get going on every project, ever, right now....

But I will start with a project I had bookmarked before I even knew what an arduino was.

Here is a custom Boba Fett helmet with a cool LED matrix attached.

I want to do this, or something like this but I cannot seem to locate the code for this project.

Would anybody be able to help me out or point me in the right direction. Any information on how to make his build better would also be much appreciated.

I suspect that is a complex project involving software in the phone as well as in the Arduino.

If all you have to go on is the pictures in that link you will have to do all of the design (both hardware and software yourself).

How much programming and electronics experience do you have?

Looks to be a 'simple' WS2812/NeoPixel project..

I think the blue tooth is just added to switch between the default NeoPixel patterns that are available/pre-made.

Robin2 has some valid question(s)..

Adafruit.. and its WHOLE NeoPixel section.. is where you should start your adventure at IMHO

Unfortunately, to answer Robins question my coding experience is not very lavish. Especially my C.

I did get in contact with OP from the original post, but he didn't provide me with much more than some basic arduino workflow guides (which I had already looked at).

Luckily for me, there seems to be a shortage of 30 plastic Boba Fett helmets, worldwide, so I won't be even starting this project for a while.

I don't have to have it exactly the way he does, what with the android app and whatnot. I'm sure there are other ways to flip between animations (?)

Anyways, I appreciate the responses, any other help would obviously be appreciated.
