I have the same problem: I screw the fuses (F8, DD, FF) on atmega168 SMD and I can´t access it. I use a AVR ISP mkII. I bootload a lot of atmega168 DIP of the same way and I haven't any problem. Can anybody help me? How do you emulate the oscillator?
