Bootloader Nano to a Nano?

Hello

I just received my first Nano
I uploaded a few projects for LED lights and received this error

An error occurred while uploading the sketch
avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000
0xff != 0x0c
avrdude: verification error; content mismatch

Im assuming I need to reinstall the boot loader? It was working fine for awhile, I must have uploaded 20 revisions to my code before I had an issue.

If so, would it be possible to use a NANO and NANO for bootloader instead of a UNO.
Would anyone have a wiring diagram I could use to do this?

Thank you in advance!!

Under normal circumstances, you never need to reinstall the bootloader. You could use an Arduino board for decades without ever doing this. Often, not being able to upload is simply a sign that you created a circuit that subjected your board to conditions outside its rated specs and permanently damaged it.

So there is no guarantee this will fix your problem, but it also is an interesting and useful thing to learn how to do (though many people go through much confusion and frustration before they manage a successful Burn Bootloader).

Yes.

It's the same wiring as when using an Uno as the "Arduino as ISP":

Programmer | Target

MOSI | MOSI
MISO | MISO
SCK | SCK
10 | RST
5V | 5V
GND | GND

Thanks for the reply pert!

I couldn't find anything on that fault code, other than bootloader.

Ive ordered another one, and will try that diagram to do the bootloader. If it fails to work, then I'll just toss out the broken one.

Thank you!
