Bracio++ Force feedback

Hello,
I am trying to use my Braccio++ arm for a school project and was wondering if the arm uses force feedback. can the servo motors "sense" when force is being applied to them? My plan is to add haptic feedback to the braccio to emulate the sensory substitution used by surgeons when operating with robots. If anyone has resources they could refer me to or an answer please let me know.
Thanks

Welcome! I do not know anything about the motors used but generally you can get an approximation of the load but time, wear, position, etc will all have there effect on the current required to run them. Try contacting them at this link; https://www.arduino.cc/en/contact-us/ They should be able to give you more details and a schematic. Good luck and let us know how you do. It is possible others on this forum have used this.

Your code should tell you if a force measurement is passed... but the motors in that kit seem to be 28BYJ-48 Stepper Motor with ULN2003 driver board, and their datasheets do not indicate a force measurement or a feedback path. What I have seen on this forum were inquiries for avoiding overheated motors.
