Brand new Arduino UNO R3 board does not connect to Win10

Hello!

We have just received two original Arduino boards, one UNO R3 and one UNO WIFI R2.
The UNO WIFI R2 works fine.
However, the UNO R3 does not connect to Windows 10, we have tried two computers.
The board is not given any Com port, only shows up under "libusb-win32 devices as ATmega 16u2 DFU.

We have tried to install FTDI driver (not sure if that was needed).
Any suggestion?

Thanks and regards,
Ole

Send them back. The DFU indicates that the USB-to-TTL chip has not been programmed.

Or you can try to program them yourself (never done that myself).

Many thanks, we will return it.
The L led is also strange, only very weak in between, no normal response.
I would expect more from the genuine products series.

Cheers,
Ole
