Breadboard issue

Although I use my breadboard frequently, there has been a pin that I had never utilized until today, the pin on the outermost corner. As I inserted a jumper into the pin, it exerted no resistance, however, when I went to take the jumper out of the pin, it exerted some resistance and broke off in the clip. Any ideas, anyone?

I'm not sure what you are asking.

Can you see the broken off piece?
If you don't use that row, everything will probably be fine.

My breadboards are made with the clips in separated little 'ditches', so something in one won't move around to the others.

They have a thick 'tar-like' backing, so if yours are the same, it is hard to peel off without damaging it.

Yes, I can still see the broken piece. It is in the power bus.
