I found this led board online because i need more PWM slots than is offered on my diecemilia (specifically 16). anyways the website says that it is compatible with the arduino platform, but as im relatively new to all this i was wondering if anyone had worked with it before, whether or not its actually compatible, anyone had trouble or whatever. any input would be amazing.
the product can be found here: Welcome brilldea.com - BlueHost.com
There is very little in this world that is not compatible with the Arduino. It's not like desktop where there are layers and layers of software making things not work and being easy lumped into a simplistic compatible / not compatible bin.
This board is based on the TLC5940 chip and there is a very good library for driving this from the Arduino so it is easy to interface. In addition the web site says they have demo software. So despite me not having first hand experance with this board I can forsee nothing that should trip you up.
Have fun.
