Hi.
During the test, i connected the 12v wire to the 5v pin of the arduino and now
When i connect usb to arduino , ic (atmega328) gets very hot but the power LED tunrs on
How do you think i can fix it ?
No.
And as an additional note, repair will more than likely be more expensive in components than a new one.
Adding to the advice given, you may, for example, decide to replace the 328P and your board may appear to be working. This can convince you that the board is fixed. The reality may be that several other components have been damaged by the over voltage and will cause the board to behave erratically in the future.
You will likely spend time in the future trying to find the error in your code when it's really a hardware problem.
Save yourself the time and effort. Throw the board out and look at it as a learning experience. We've probably all done something similar ourselves in the past. I certainly have.
The simplest and most reliable repair is to replace it. You can get a new one for less then the sum of the parts.
