Broken link on ArduinoBLE main page and other issues

ArduinoBLE - Arduino Reference contains a broken link for 'standard services', which links to a bluetooth.com page that gives a 403 error.

at the bottom of the arduino.cc page it says " Corrections, suggestions, and new documentation should be posted to the [Forum]"

which takes me to these forums which have no category for documentation. so i guessed this category "website/community".

then the forum says to use github to report issues - but has no link to github nor an indication if this means regarding documentation problems or otherwise.

but anyway. the link is broken. This is the borken link:

https://www.bluetooth.com/develop-with-bluetooth//gatt/services/Pages/ServicesHome.aspx

Apparently "Standard Services" is not a standard piece of bluetooth jargon because searching for that phrase on the web does not provide any kind of basic definition or list.

After reading Introduction | Introduction to Bluetooth Low Energy | Adafruit Learning System which has a very nice explanation of bluetooth, I think maybe the replacement link might be Specifications – Bluetooth® Technology Website although I am not sure because that in turn links to a bunch of extremely complicated PDFs

thanks

Perfect guess.

Thanks for pointing that out. I have now updated the category description:

This problem was reported last June. I had to do quite some Internet archaeology to find out where that page had gone:

Thanks

however Arduino Official Store | Boards Shields Kits Accessories is also broken

so im not sure how to get this fixed.

if there is a github with the html i can just submit a pull request but i dont know where that would be

Since the time of our conversation two months ago, It has been moved here:
https://www.arduino.cc/en/contact-us/

Arduino Official Store | Boards Shields Kits Accessories redirects to https://www.arduino.cc/en/contact-us/ for me, that is strange the redirect is not working for you.

Unfortunately, this particular content is not hosted in a GitHub repository, nor in a manner that allows direct collaboration from the community. I actually don't even have access to this content.

Thanks for checking on it.
I think the problem might be that for me Arduino Official Store | Boards Shields Kits Accessories redirects to https://store.arduino.cc/usa/store-support which then redirects to https://store.arduino.cc/usa/no-route

I'm guessing from different geographic locations it won't go to "usa/store-support"
