Broken micro usb connector

I accidentaly broke the fragile micro usb connector .

Cf this picture which is similar to my problem :

I was wondering if the 4 "big" pads can be soldered to fix the problem ?

If not, and given the fact that i use only the usb for power, is it possible to solder wires to only 2 among the 5 really tiny connectors (which is probably hard but more feasible than the 5).

Any idea somebody ?

This has happened to several people. I don't have the thread, so I can't tell you where to search, except I recall the used the words, "mirco" and "USB". Success has been mixed with this.
