Bug in the Arduino Setup?

Hello everyone,

While installing my Arduino software v. 1.7.10, I was so excited and was checking what files were being installed.

My Arduino software looks to be working all great, but I found 2 files that were not installed completely, atleast according to the setup.

Check the attached picture. Maybe it is just a bug with the percentage, or maybe the files are a bit corrupt or something is being skipped, not sure.

What do you think?

1.7.10 is not an official build, it's from the rogue "arduino.org" people - they forked the IDE and bumped the version to deceive people into thinking that they are the latest official versions. There is ongoing litigation regarding their unauthorized use of the Arduino trademark. As such, you should contact them with bug reports if you wish to use their version.

The latest official version is 1.6.11. Good recent versions are 1.6.5r5, 1.6.9, and 1.6.11

You can download official versions of the IDE from the download page:

Thanks for the reply.

I guess I got into a place I shouldn't.

Two arduino's...Already informed myself. I had not noticed before the two websites/companies. So this post is totally out of sync.

Just found out that where I bought my arduino, was from the .org company, which is kinda the bad guy.
