As I mentioned in the thread about lots of compile errors hung Arduino IDE, which looks like maybe a fix was checked in today (in CLI) so probably won't see it, until the next iteration where current CLI is incorporated into IDE, I think I just had it happen again.
I had two ide windows open. I did a minor edit in one of them and tried to do a build. The build hung, with the IDE looking like:
Which I am not what the offline indication in yellow means?
The other windows looks like:
I tried to reissue a build. Nothing. I tried clicking on the close button, Window did not close.
Clicking the close (X) on the other window does not close either.
Trying to right click in tray and choosing to close all windows, does nothing.
I was able to kill it, by opening Task manager and end Task, but strangely the Task manager ended up in strange state:
Had to go back to task bar and right click to close the close it.
Sorry I know not much to go on, but thought I would mention I ran into this again.
Kurt
Edit: Forgot to mention, that after I killed the Arduino process, I started it up again, and it had not saved away my most recent changes.
