Hello smart brains.
I' m triyng to make an arduino based Wireless dorbell and I have some doubts about
the Receiver Circuit Diagram if it's correct or not.
I will appreciate any kind of help.
here is the circuit
It looks quite plausible. But without a full explanation of the system, for example the role of the auxiliary MCU HT-12D and links to the specific hardware and its specifications, it is impossible to verify the correctness.
One thing that stands out, you have interfaced a 9V MCU to a 5V MCU. Where is the voltage level translation?
You have told us very little about the project. For example, why you would need an auxiliary processor at all...
Posted wiring diagram came from here:
The VT pin of the decoder is active HIGH, meaning it can supply 9V and up to 1.6mA according to the data sheet. That is not something you want to apply directly to an Arduino input pin. It wouldn't necessarily burn it up instantly, but it's pushing your luck.
I have some doubts about
the Receiver Circuit Diagram if it's correct or not.
You just want verification, or is this a different way to say, "I built this and it doesn't work, I am asking why it doesn't work?".
