Hello everybody,
I'm building an escape room and have a question regarding one specific puzzle that I want to build, and because I'm a arduino noob I'm already kinda stuck.
puzzle:
iron marble passes past a proximity switch and an electrolock (https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/0.html?orderId=81526230566210&productId=32261835507) unlocks and a small door opens.
The electrolock is standard closed, thus when applying 12v to it the lock opens.
questions:
- can anybody help me drawing me the hardware schematics (how everything is connected) and the programming inside the arduino.
2a. is it possible to make this whole setup independent from wired power supply, in other words can I make this work just on batteries (5V for the proximity switch and arduino, 12V for the electrolock)
2b. Is there a possibility to include on/off switches that are controlled by remote ? For saving battery power.
thanks in advance for anybody who could help me further

We are not a free circuit design and code writing service. If you post in the Gigs and Collaborations section there are members who, for a fee, will do your project for you.
If you make the effort to try to draw the schematic and post it, I am sure there will be members that will help make sure that it is right. Same with code. You try, we help.

oops, my bad. I thought this was a forum.
I'm not trying to take the easy way out, and I am mentally perfectly capable of designing the circuit and writing the code. But this would take me hours, days of searching the net, trial and error x100 and there is nothing wrong with that, on the contrary this can even be fun. But combining a lot of things in my life (fulltime job, another job, 3 children, renovating,...) I thought I could ask this question here. But no problem I will post my question in the gigs and collaboration section.
thanks for the quick reply
