BURNED IT

Hey guys Ok so I am building a 4x4x4 cube and I was having issues. I have built before and it was fine. Anyways I have checked everything and soldered. I have a burnt or shorted pin on arduino. So what am I to do?
I have all pins used 16 for the columns and four pins for the layers. Is there a way to used another pin like reassign it or sumthing?

Soo.... any suggestions?

You have not supplied the Arduino model you are using or a circuit to show what pins you are using.

I will assume you are using a Uno and ask if you are using the analogue pins in your project.

Arduino uno
using pins 0-13, a4 a5 - pins for the 16 columns for cube.

using pins ao-a3 - pins for the 4 layers.

Pin 11 i believe is burnt out or just not working.

is there any way to use any other pins?

It looks like you are already using all IO.

You can look at using a shift register so you can output 16 columns on one pin.

Yes you are right about the IO
what i am asking i guess then is is it possible to use say the
reset pin but assign it as the output for the column.
or say the vin.

Replace the chip.

Are you using appropriate current limiting resistors? If not, you are likely to burn a pin again.
