Kia Ora,
I'm looking for something that is probably "really easy", however I am incredibly novice and am struggling to find any basic terms for my little set up.
-
I want 2 buttons, each that are associated with their own unique sound.
-
When a button is pressed, I want an LED light nearby to light up and then disappear once the track has finished playing. (Or after a set time of 5 - 10 seconds would be fine)
-
I currently have an MP3 Shield as well as an Arduino Board and breadboard.
I want to know the best or most practicable way of making a track / sound play when I press one button, and then make a different sound on the other button.
As you can see from the pictures attached, I'm struggling to get by just setting it up. I'm also really worried about the angle, the boards sit at, while on top of each other.
Code is also another beast I am yet to get. Which I know is going to be the death of me already, judging from the errors I'm getting.
Is there an easy set up or site which shows how to assign music or sounds to a button press, while having lights show for a small time period? Or am I dreaming?
The code I'm looking at trying to use as a reference is found here:

I feel like it's the closest I've come to finding a complete code for myself.
Cheers for your replies, in advance
