Buy this power supply?

Anybody know if this is reasonable product for the cost or junk to avoid Please?

Thank You

You can find many reviews.

It is not a precise as they claim, but it is not very bad either. A think a value of 49 dollars is about the right price.

When you want something to last for many years, you have to pay more.

My experience with these "cheapie" Chinese supplies (2 to date) in general has not been good. Dodgy pots, become unstable after some time. Something burnt out by the smell, to date, could not be bothered to fully diagnose & repair.

For that cited:

Con: Unbranded.

Pro: Seller in your country- warranty will presumably apply.

I don't buy junk intentionally. Perhaps I will keep watching. Thanks for the input. I remember a similar looking supply I believe was made by Tektronics and was in use in 2001. Anybody know the one? Perhaps someone can recommend a decent power supply with current limiting option for 100$ or less. Can be used. Does not have to be super accurate but precision would be nice. Alternatively, are there any really good kits out there for the same kind of thing?

Thank You.

I personally would try to find a surplus HP or TEK power supply..
They can be found for not so very much money and they are nearly indestructible...
I own a TEK 2213 scope that I purchased in 2010 that was last calibrated in 2000 and it was still in calibration when I received it from a US surplus dealer on Ebay... It cost me $55.00 and the shipping was $60.00... ground from the east coast...
Still works well...
