Has anyone bought this scope and received it? I'm looking to buy the kit and solder it together but I want to buy from a reputable supplier so I'm not throwing my money away.

I have bought a DIY kit from seeedstudio quite a while ago. Meanwhile there have been considerable improvements to firmware and the board.
The soldering took a few hours. If you can deal with 0805 components, you'll be fine.
Here are some photos of the first revision, which are now outdated. But you'll see what you'll have to deal with.
When I bought it it came with an RCA socket (which was fine) and an RCA plug (which was 100% crap). Maybe you'll want to get a high quality one as well.
