C/Arduino Tutorials

As someone relatively new to arduino, I prefer to learn and understand stuff myself, to try and keep questions to people on here to a last resort :)

So apart from the stuff on this site, Im trying to build a library of locations, perhaps other people might like to link their favourites?

My starter for 10:

General C tutorials:

http://www.tutorialspoint.com/cprogramming http://www.cplusplus.com/

Specific arduino related examples:

http://www.gammon.com.au/forum/index.php?bbtopic_id=123

Both Adafruit and Sparkfun have tutorials you could look at (mostly hardware stuff).

Here is one example: https://learn.adafruit.com/memories-of-an-arduino/arduino-memories

http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-3.0.2/cpp_13.html#SEC58

I just Googled "Free C programming tutorials" and got over 14 million hits! I had no idea there were so many out there. Determining what is "right" for you depends upon a lot of things, particularly your previous programming experience, if any. I'm extremely biased, but if you have no prior programming experience, check Beginning C for Arduino. You can find a description and reviews on Amazon, and you can click on the cover artwork and read the Table of Contents. If you are an experienced programmer, perhaps in another language, you only have 13.999+ million entries left to check!
