Calibration of HX711 - -/+ Does not Change Zero Out

I found an old thread on the forums I am trying to calibrate HX711 but something wrong... - Programming Questions - Arduino Forum which quite on point for me. I set the initial calibration fact at -73.50 and obtained that number researching the Internet to use for kgs.

Perhaps I'm confused on how this works. I enter the "-" or the "+" and the calibration factor changes, but the amount of kgs. stays at 0.0 kgs. I've tried to place and know weight on the scale and the weight also stays at 0.0 kg.

The HX711 is connected to a Pro Mini.
