Does anyone know of an XBee adapter for an arduino mini? The small space requirements would open up quite a few new wireless possibilities.
Thanks in advance for advice!

Is this what you have in mind?

Almost - I have seen that board before & it is not quite what I was suggesting. That plugs into a breadboard and has an FTDI chip. What I think would be great is something that soldered directly to an arduino mini (I believe the XBee is TTL so wouldn't need the FTDI chip?).
I am actually trying to learn eagle now and may try to tackle this problem. If I ever come up with a decent design, I will post the results here.
Have a look at the funnel i/O at http://www.funnel.cc I just received mine but I haven't done any intense testing as yet. available at spark fun of course
That is exactly what I have been looking for! Thanks very much! You saved me hours of Eagle design and SMD soldering!
