Calling the setDigitalOutput function from a non-teleduino website

Hello,
I have a Arduino Uno controller with Arduino Ethernet shield. I could call the setDigitalOutput function through the teleduino website and set a value of 1 to pin 3.

Below is my URL

https://us01.proxy.teleduino.org/api/1.0/328.php?k=&r=setDigitalOutput&pin=3&output=1&expire_time=0&save=1

Now what I wanted to do was call the SetDigitalOutput function from my own website directly and not have to go through the Teleduino website. My understanding is that these functions are already residing in the Arduino Uno microcontroller when it is shipped itself.

In that context below are my questions.

  1. Is it possible to call this function from a non-teleduino website in the first place
  2. My suspicion is that its possible. But I can’t point my finger towards what is required to be done in that website. The about http request appears to be a get request. Whereas it appears that my website design application will accept only post requests.

Hope the question is clear.

Regards

Bala

As you have not posted your Arduino program how do you expect anyone to know what you are talking about?

And please use the code button </>so your code looks like thisand is easy to copy to a text editor

Your understanding is incorrect.

  1. Is it possible to call this function from a non-teleduino website in the first place

Maybe.

  1. My suspicion is that its possible. But I can't point my finger towards what is required to be done in that website. The about http request appears to be a get request. Whereas it appears that my website design application will accept only post requests.

The above http "request" is a URL. The browser that the URL is input to will decide how to convert the URL to a GET or POST request.

"My website design" is a complete mystery.

No. You installed software on your Arduino that was provided by the Teleduino website. Have you already forgotten what you did? ? ?
