I am currently working on a project where I need to be able to clearly image an object placed about 3in from the lens of the camera. It doesn't need to be super high resolution, just a picture that isn't blurry. Are there any compact cameras (about the dimension of the camera designed for the Raspberry Pi) that can meet this requirement? Thank you for your help.
Hi yeah there are some options. Arducam has some modules that work with Arduino (Arduino Cameras). The modules have adjustable lenses (M4 I think) that you can set a close focal point with. If you cannot focus with the default lens you could always switch out the lens for something more appropriate.
