I recently got an old security camera. i dismantled it and took out the camera module. it is a vk-c77s camera. I want to run it, but i dont know what the inputs are. there is a 9 wire strip coming out of it. any way for me to find out what the wires do?

any way for me to find out what the wires do?

Google?

I want to run it

Before you get to carried away, you need to explain what "run" means. If you expect the Arduino to turn the camera off and on, fine. If you want it to do something with the data generated by the camera, you can stop right now.

any way for me to find out what the wires do?

They do what all wires do. They get electrons from point a to point b.

i want the arduino to turn it off and on i just removed the imager chip. it has 14 pins, 7 on each side any way to find the pinout? it is a sony 811k3kk fcx068 ak

I am not sure what the pin out would help you do. If you are down to the imaging chip there is not much the arduino can do with this. This chip needs feeding with clocks and the output (normally serial) needs dealing with. Non of which is an arduino suitable task. Stick to trying to control the camera as a whole.
