Someone might be able to make the camera work, but there would not be enough memory to store an image.

If you want capture image you'll need a jpeg camera.
your phone camera will need more things to work with the arduino, also cameras change from manufacturers and it's hard to make it work, and i would say almost impossible!! Even if you are able to do that, you'll need more components to make it possible to work.
