can a normal phone usb charger cable be used to power arduino nano

hey guys, just wondering

can a normal micro USB phone charger cable be used to power Arduino nano V3.

Often the charger will have the input and output voltage and current written on the charger. If the output is 5Vdc then it will probably work. I power all sorts of projects from chargers that I get cheaply at the thrift store.

im sorry i actually meant to program the arduino nano board

Then that is hard to say. The best that I can say is, try it. A charger cable certainly has +5V and ground, but may not have the D+ and D- USB conductors.
