Absolutely true. I suppose and hope the OP is doing this for learging purposes only. If not, and wanna make it as a "real" lawnmower ("you can tell me by the way I walk".. cit. who gets it?) I agree it's not only a complex project, it has many serious issues about the needed mechanical side, and, more important, safety issues. It's far much more than the classic Gundam syndrome...
