can arduino"DUE" process iamge?

i need image processing, but i don't know if arduino can work on image

A project i think is something with camera, and i want a board with capability

if DUE can't, what is recommended? (below 50~60$)

You have access to close to 90 kbytes of RAM on Due , but you do not have to "process" full image at once.
Depending on how fast you need to process the image you can always divide it to smaller pieces and than you are not limited by RAM size.

Just FYI 320 x 240 color "image" can be updated in roughly 20 ms.

What do you mean "process"?

A Rasberry Pi is more likely to have this capability in this price range.

ImageMagick is a free and open-source software suite for displaying, converting, and editing raster image and vector image files. It can read and write over 200 image file formats.

ImageMagick:

  • File format conversion
  • Color quantization
  • Dithering
  • Liquid rescaling
  • Artistic effects
  • Transform: resize, rotate, crop, flip or trim an image.
  • Transparency: render portions of an image invisible.

ANY Arduino is capable of processing images, the difference being how fast they can do it. The DUE will be at least 10-30X faster than any AVR_based Arduino, due to the MUCH faster CPU, and the hardware multiply. But, whether it's suitable for your application depends very much on what your requirements are. "Image Processing" is a VERY broad field. Do you simply need yo display JPEGS, or do you want to do MPEG decoding? There can be 100:1 difference between the two in terms of bandwidth requirement.
