can bus access to l9805e based device

Hi,

I am new to can bus protocol, and I am trying to access to st l9805e via can bus. I have can bus shield (CAN-BUS Shield V1.2 - Seeed Wiki), arduino nano. How to know what is address of l9805e based device on can bus network. How to access to him? how to force him to talk with me?

Never used the L9805, but as far I understand you need to program the integrated MCU to behave the way you wish. Otherwise it does nothing.
