Can ESP32 handle with 5V on USB?

Can ESP32-S3 handle with 5V and more on USB-C/micro? In the internet there was only the information about vin pin, that can handle up to 12v.

I've never used an ESP but all USB ports (on computers/controllers) have 5V.

I'll take a SWAG and say it should work, assuming it complies with the appropriate USB specification. To get anything other than 5V, the port requires additional hardware to communicate with the host and indicate the desired voltage.
