Can I replace Nano USB Port with standard USB type A port?

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to make something like nano flash drive for specific reason. I want to replace nano mini USB port with type A USB port to make it possible to be directly connected to PC like a flash drive. Have anyone tried this before? any tips?

Thnx in advance

Can't you get an adapter cable?

You can get adapters that are a mini one one side and a type A on the other.

You can also buy Arduino boards that are made just like what you're looking for. They usually use the ATmega32U4 (like the Leonardo and Micro boards) so they can be sold to the "USB Rubber Ducky" crowd.
